An exhibition of works on paper in the open niches, Young Adult Niches, and Under-The-Stairs by students in ertificate 1 in Transition Education, from CAE.

In the first half of the year, the students considered, transformed and reconstructed visual information from text. They were also inspired through gallery visits and print media to create a collage with the central theme of FRUIT, within a surrealist context.

The next project focused on exploring the creative possibilities of using watercolour. The theme for this endeavour was to sketch and paint animals and flowers. We were inspired by an educational trip to the Melbourne Zoo.

The final project explored colour. The students created a collaborative piece using a drawing of Flinders Street Station as their central image. Each section was coloured in by a different student.

When: 2-29 November
Where: Open niches, The Square Arch niches, and Under-The-Stairs
