Riding your bike to class
Bicycles can be carried free on metropolitan trains. You cannot board at the first door of the first carriage, as this is a priority area for mobility impaired passengers.
Folding bikes, secured in a bag, can be carried free on trams and buses but must not exceed 82 cm long by 69 cm high by 39 cm wide, or have wheel rims of more than 51 cm in diameter.
You can park bikes opposite the Whitehorse Fitness Club on the Bank Street entrance, boomgate W3.
Bicycle Parking is available on campus at Box Hill including great racks at the E7 Complex on Elgar Road.
CAE / City campus campus:
Near CAE/ city campus buildings there are well-patronised bike hoops along Flinders Lane.
Student Life will give you maps and information on how to best get to Box Hill Institute Group campus on your bike.
