Car parking on campus

There is limited parking available to students and visitors on campus. Tickets can be purchased at ticket machines for non-permit holders. Disabled parking is available.

Instructions: Select the area parking map to reveal parking spots.

There is very limited parking on the Elgar and Nelson campuses, and there is no student parking on the Whitehorse campus before 3pm. To park in the Institute car parks, you must have a valid parking permit displayed on your vehicle. Permits can be purchased from Student Service Centres (where you pay your course fees) for $13.00 for a full year and $6.50 for half a year. Cheaper rates are available for concession holders. Even with a pre-purchased permit, you will still need to pay $3.00 per day to park on Institute grounds. These fees are subject to change. Please note the Box Hill Institute car park on the corner of Elgar and Whitehorse Roads is $1.00 per hour up to 4 hours or $5.00 for the whole day. Please always read signs to check conditions of parking.
