Farzad (Faz) Maghami is an Academic & Literacy, Language and Numeracy (LLN) Adviser at Box Hill Institute Group. Faz graduated from RMIT and Monash University; he has been teaching in Melbourne since 1991. He can provide help and support for students with all aspects of their studies, including:

Faz is involved in establishing and maintaining productive relationships with relevant teachers, departments, industries and governments, and monitoring all resources involved in program delivery to achieve high quality outcomes for all students.

Farzad is also a designated First Aider, member of OHS Committee and Fire warden at BHIG.

Farzad has been teaching in Melbourne since 1991. He holds an Electrical Engineering degree from RMIT University, Masters in Digital Communication from Monash University and a Masters Degree in Adult Education at Monash University in 2016.

Farzad is an advocate of critical pedagogy; his interest lies in inclusive education, socio-cultural approaches towards learning, global education and curriculum innovation. Farzad believes that teachers are great leaders who lay the foundation for a just society, and that education should be involved in community/national and global issues to improve the lives of people.
