Coronavirus (COVID-19) & the Library

Coronavirus (COVID-19) related changes to Library services

All campus libraries are now closed due to the current lockdown. Borrowed items due during the lockdown period are being automatically extended.

From Wednesday 28 July 2021, Elgar Library, Nelson Library, Lilydale Lakeside Campus Library and CAE (City) Campus Library are open 8.30am-4.30pm, Monday to Friday. If you're returning to campus, you'll be able to drop into the library for research help, to borrow and return resources, or to use the PCs and study spaces (with COVID-19 restrictions in place).

Note that when visiting the library in person, you must follow all the COVID-19 requirements as outlined on the Attending campus page.

We are no longer automatically extending loan due dates. Loans need to be returned or renewed at the end of the loan period.  Renew by phone, by email, or via the "Renew" button on the Library homepage.

Online library resources are available via our Discovery Catalogue.

If you have questions, you can reach us by leaving a message on (03) 9286 9283 or by emailing library@boxhill.edu.au.

Thanks for your understanding during the current circumstances.
