  • The information below is a guide to some of the core information of the Diploma of Nursing. 

    There are 2 classes a day that run at:

    • 0830-1200
    • 1300-1630

    Please see below for allocated attendance days for your first semester. Days may change each semester. You will find out your allocated group on the first day of orientation.

    • In case of any public holiday on your regular attendance day, students will be required to attend another day of the week.
    • SWOT is not a period of break.  Students will be required to attend any teaching/placements/assessments during the SWOT block.
    •  Student may be required to attend some resits during the second week of break


    Course Structure:
    Your course will run for 2 years.  This is broken into 4 x 6 month Semesters known as Phases. You will complete 6-8 units per Phase. At the end of each Phase you will be required to go on a 2-4 week clinical placement.
    Please refer to the Course Planner relevant to your commencement date for all relevant dates and times.
