Mac OS accessibility tools
Your Mac computer includes a number of useful tools, such as changing the screen brightness, a screen reader, dictation, a screen magnifier and colour filters.
To view the various tools:
1. Select the Apple logo in the top left of your screen.
2. Select System Preferences.
3. Select Accessibility.
For more information, visit the Apple accessibility webpage.
Or you can learn tips, tricks and how-to's for accessibility features straight from Apple Accessibility on YouTube.
Some of the tools are described in the other sections.
A keyboard shortcut is when you select a combination of keys on the keyboard to perform an action, instead of using the mouse.
