Accessibility tools

Your Mac computer includes a number of useful tools, such as changing the screen brightness, a screen reader, dictation, a screen magnifier and colour filters.

To view the various tools: 

1. Select the Apple logo in the top left of your screen.

2. Select System Preferences.

3. Select Accessibility.

Keyboard shortcuts

A keyboard shortcut is when you select a combination of keys on the keyboard to perform an action, instead of using the mouse.  

Some examples:

  • Command + C to copy  (Press and hold the Command key, then press the C key.)
  • Command + V to paste
  • Command + Z to undo the previous action
