Nice work Zoe and YVTS team!

You might like to remind staff to think about updating their TPDR following the sessions today rather that trying to remember in 2021 what they did learn from today

Were the 'sunglasses' assessed?

They were given a HD 😊

Take-aways!! Ha Ha! Very good.

Well done guys!

Thanks Kelly. It’s a good overview of addressing individual student needs. Love the humanistic, strengths-based approach. What are the metrics we are using to track the engagement / satisfaction of the student body as a cohort? These should tell us how we are tracking more globally.

Questions relate to National Quality Indicator and ASQA and collected via out VET Customer Experience Survey. Academic Quality invites 2,000 BHIO VET students to participate in online course evaluations using Survey Monkey each month from March to December - the data is then distributed back to faculties

Fabulous information Kelly, thank you.

Does the copy right recognition happen automatically?

No you have to enter. But when you upload an image you then click on metadata and enter the information. I checked by copyright info with Ian Goding last week so he now knows about it.

Lots of great opportunities for formative assessment

To Estelle from Fashion HE, Great video and amazing tips, How long does it take you do make a demonstration video for your class?

This Video took me 3 days(36h) to plan, film and edit as it has lots of different components in it. For my classes my demonstrations videos are about 10-15mim each taking 4 to 6hours to make each one. I have made over 80 videos. It takes a lot of work and hours to prep for online learing. Note: I had no experience in making videos before lockdown, so anyone can do it!

Amazing

Great use of colour and contrast in these videos.

love the attention to minute details in the fashion tips

If you want to use your phone as a webcam, grab the DroidCam App, it's available for Iphone and Android, great when you need an extra camera.

Amazing

Loved your tips Estelle, amazing and clear detail for online presentation. what a fantastic resource for teachers and students!

Great work Estelle...Fantastic tips and tricks. You have also shown the really impressive innovations behind the scenes that teachers have put in place to be able to continue to deliver an excellent experience to students - something that I am seeing across the board from teachers

Great presentation Estelle

That looks amazing - so many little tips we can utilise

Great video Estelle. Really helpful and inspiring.

Great presentation

I have used a tripod tied to a step ladder - be useful to have these products available for all prac classes

Great presentation Estelle

Fantasic tips Estelle - this is just one example from the many amazing videos the fashion teachers have created.

Absolutely loving everyone's presentations. Incredible work!!

You were allowed to use Zoom???

There are critical cyber security risks of using Zoom and it is being phased out on all BHI systems and devices.

Going outdoors good mental health too

Excellent singing Beth

Awesome examples, loved it!

Thanks Aaron. Great work.

Great example of investing time and effort in the front end to reap the benefits in the back end

Great opportunities for students to work at their own pace/review the content

Great dedication to international students

Great catering to support learners with special needs

Thanks Stan for the extra efforts to keep all our students smiling!

Well done Stan.

I think a lot of the lessons from today's sessions will be useful for improving educational quality down the track, not just in lockdown - especially the importance of allowing to students to work through material at their own pace

It would be great if some of the videos that have been produced for VCE and VCAL could be shared or made available to other departments, for example Corrections Education who are just moving to using Moodle in a modified format. It would be of benefit to use the teaching created rather than recreating.

We certainly can. Owen VCE

No that is not required for a MS Teams Live event, unless you are a presenter.
