    Join the Student Wellbeing team for a practical workshop where we will discuss what stress really is, how it affects your mind and body, and (most importantly) how to manage it like a boss. Learn simple strategies to stay calm, stay focused, and bounce back when life gets stressful. Whether you are battling burnout or just want a few extra tools in your mental wellness toolkit, this session is for you!

    Reconciliation Week 2025 – Bridging Now to Next

    National Reconciliation Week is a chance to learn about Indigenous history and culture while showing your support for reconciliation in Australia.

    Join us on Tuesday 27 May at the Elgar campus for a spirited Welcome to Country from Uncle Shane, followed by activities. Enjoy bush tea with a cookie made from Indigenous ingredients, receive a hand massage using Indigenous ingredients and explore various Indigenous arts and crafts on display.

    The event will close with an Acknowledgement of Country workshop with Uncle Shane, where you can learn about why these are so important and how to develop your own genuine and engaging Acknowledgement of Country.

    Planned Outage: Network Upgrade Activities – Sat 26th April

    As part of essential activities to upgrade our IT network across all campuses, there will be a major disruption to the IT network as outlined below:

    Saturday 26th April 2025, 7:30AM – 6:00PM AEDT

    Outage Impacts will be:

    • Staff and Students working on-site across all Campuses will not have access to BHI hosted systems (such as StudentWeb) and internet-based systems & services (e.g. Email, Teams etc.)
    • Staff and Students not on-site will not have access to BHI hosted systems but can access internet-based systems & services via their own internet service provider

    A separate notification will also be issued to Students advising them of what services will be unavailable across the above time period.

    All efforts are being made to minimise disruptions to staff and students. We apologise if, in some instances, impacts on certain activities during these periods cannot be avoided.
