Australia’s bushfires are the worst on record and are causing devastation across the country. Natural disasters can be extremely challenging for those directly and indirectly affected and can impact whole communities. Some experiences of those impacted can include stress, anxiety, exhaustion, shock or feeling ‘numb’, loneliness, physical problems, uncertainty about the future, anger, and self-harm or thoughts of suicide.
