25 May 2021 COVID Update

As public health officials work to pinpoint the source of these latest COVID cases, additional safety measures will be put in place across Greater Melbourne to help keep Victorians safe. 

Box Hill Institute remains open and running with the following measurements in place from 6pm on 25 May 2021.

Face masks are compulsory indoors at all times for anyone aged 12 years and older unless you have an exemption.

All students must to carry masks at all times and wear masks when instructed to do so. Masks should be self-supplied however, if you need a mask, spare masks are available as a once off from these locations: 

·         Lilydale LB/LC Reception

·         Lilydale Trade Centre Reception

·         Nelson Ground Floor Reception

·         CAE – Security Office Ground Floor Building B

·         Elgar – Facilities Office – E4, Level 2

·         Elgar – HSW – E9, Level 1

·         Elgar – AMEP Office, E7, Level 2

 

There are no changes to density requirements however, you must still maintain 1.5m distance where practicable. 

Private gatherings are limited to 5 visitors to a home per day. 

Public gatherings are capped at 30 people.

QR codes remain mandatory. Teachers will check student sign in at the start of class.

Anyone from Greater Metropolitan Melbourne can travel to regional Victoria however the Melbourne restrictions apply during your travels

Feeling Unwell

If you are feeling unwell and have any COVID symptoms, please do not attend campus. It is recommended you undertake a COVID test and please contact your Coordinator.
