Stage 3 Lockdown – Impact on Box Hill Institute

The State Government is implementing a seven day circuit breaker lockdown (Stage 3) to be put in place from 11:59pm Thursday 27 May 2021.

Until 11.59pm Thursday 3 June, there are five essential to leave home. These are reasons are:

  • shopping for essential goods or services
  • authorised work or education
  • seeking or giving compassionate care
  • exercising for two hours per day with one other person
  • receiving a COVID vaccination

 You must stay within 5kms of your home when shopping and exercising.

 All Box Hill Institute courses will be delivered remotely during this lockdown.

New exposure sites have been updated on the DHHS website.

Campus

All campuses will be closed during this timeframe and classes will be delivered remotely. The Lilydale Lakeside Childcare will remain open as an essential service.

Face coverings

Face masks must be worn indoors and outdoors except at home or if you have an exemption.
