Having a good night sleep is vital for maintaining good health and well-being.
Experiencing difficulty sleeping is a common problem and can contribute to lack of energy and poor concentration.
There are a number of things you can do to improve your sleep.
Try to get up at about the same time each morning and go to bed at the same time each night.
Avoid napping during the day.
Allow yourself time to wind down before going to bed by not watching TV or using your phone or computer.
Try to make your bedroom quiet, dark and cool.
If worrying about things is interfering with your sleep, set aside some time during the day to write down your worries.
If you can't sleep after trying for 20 minutes, get out of bed and do something quiet, which may help to distract you from your worries and help you to wind down. Go back to bed when you feel more relaxed and sleepy.
Sleep well!
