Beginning next Monday 15th July,  Box Hill Institute will be   celebrating Indigenous Culture Awareness Week. 

There will be movies in the Student Lounges, a didgeridoo performance, a smoking ceremony, BBQs and traditional bush tucker to try. Be sure to catch this great cultural event.  

Nelson: Tuesday 16th July, 12-1.30, outside the Student Lounge. 

Elgar: Wednesday 17th July, 12-1.30, centre courtyard.

Whitehorse: Thursday 18th July, 12-1.30pm, outside, centre grass area.

The week will also conclude with a trip to the Koorie Heritage Trust on  Monday the 22nd of July which will involve a guided walking tour through the Flagstaff Gardens followed by entry to the Art Exhibition. It will cost $5 per student with the bus departing from Victoria Crescent at 1.30pm and returning at approximately 5.30pm.
