Reasonable Adjustment
Students identifying as having a disability and/or health condition impacting their studies may access reasonable adjustments to assist them to participate in training and assessment on the same basis as students without a diagnosed disability and/or health condition. Students can learn more about this through the Accessibility Liaison Service page on the StudentHub, by calling Student Life on (03) 9286 9891, by emailing the Accessibility Liaison Service on als@boxhill.edu.au or by calling into the Student Life area at our Box Hill, Lilydale or City Campuses.
Special Consideration
Where a student anticipates that a result will be impacted by special circumstances such as ill health or bereavement, application can be made for special consideration. Forms can be accessed from the Student Life office at Elgar Campus in B3.201 or downloaded from the StudentHub.
For VCE courses: Supplementary exam procedures apply. Please see your VCE Teacher or VCE Coordinator for further discussion.
Assessment Review
If you believe that you have been assessed unfairly, you have the right to request an informal assessment review.
You can request an informal review by messaging your Assessor using the messaging icon in StudentWeb. The messaging icon is a speech bubble and is located to the left of your name on the top right hand side of StudentWeb. Alternatively, you can email the Operations Manager of your teaching area requesting an informal assessment review.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you can apply for a formal review by completing and submitting the Formal Review of Assessment application form available in the StudentHub.
For VCE courses: VCAA rules and regulations replace the above assessment review. Please see your VCE Teacher or VCE Coordinator for further discussion.
