Glean Note Taking

Glean Note Taking captures the audio of lectures and tutorials so you don’t need to take written notes.  Glean is a web app available to use on any device.  It can be used for both classroom and online learning. Glean allows students with disability to take information from their lectures and tutorials and use it in the way that best allows them to learn. Glean works well with screenreaders.

Notetaking is one of those areas where people with significant physical disabilities have been reliant on other people to take their notes.  Glean can allow you to do that independently.

You can use the Glean features to:

  • create a complete audio record of what was said
  • quickly tag key moments by using text or labels
  • import slides or take screenshots to add to your notes
  • transcribe audio and select sections of the transcript to include in your notes.

Once the recording is complete, you can revisit your notes to edit and enhance them. When complete, review them in reading view, print them to paper or copy/paste them into your preferred writing application.

Free 30 day trial. $200 per annum.
