Teacher Essentials Kit
Welcome to the Educator Passport Teacher Essentials Kit (TEK)
In 2025, there are 4 mandatory TEK modules to complete, each worth 3 points:
- Introduction to StudentWeb
- Managing Difficult Conversations with Learners
- Conducting Quality Assessment at Box Hill Institute
- Learning Design and Engagement Strategies
Each module contains a SCORM PACKAGE comprising of lesson topics and a quiz. Points are awarded to a teacher’s ‘Passport’ when a passing grade in the quiz is achieved.
If you are new to BHI, please also ensure you complete the two introductory modules for Educator Passport:

It may take up to 30 days for Teacher Essentials points to appear in a teachers Passport.
If points have not appeared in a Passport within 30 days of completion, please send an email with the name of the module you completed to educatorpassport@boxhill.edu.au.
