TAFE VIC & AUTISM REPORT JOINT SURVEY: Amaze; Aspergers Vic; Different Journeys; I CAN Network; Yellow Ladybugs
Amaze has partnered with Aspergers Victoria, Different Journeys, the I CAN Network and Yellow Ladybugs, Autistic Girls & Women to jointly create a survey to hear about the experiences of Autistic students in Victorian TAFE Institutes. This survey comes ahead of an inquiry heard by the Victorian Parliament
into access to TAFE for Students with Disability that aims to make TAFE
programs in Victoria more inclusive.
Amaze and its’ survey partners want to hear from:
· Current Victorian TAFE Autistic students
· Autistic people who went to TAFE in the last 5 years (even if you didn’t finish your course)
· Autistic people who are thinking of going to TAFE in the next 2 to 3 years.
This is an anonymous survey and can be done independently or with the
assistance of a parent, carer, or guardian if needed.
Amaze and its’ survey partners are interested in the views, insights and
experiences on how Autistic students can be supported to access and fully
participate in TAFE programs in Victoria.
The information collected will be used to inform policy recommendations and advocacy to governments and TAFEs about the needs of Autistic people.
Please complete the survey by Wednesday 4 November 2020.
