COVID-19 UPDATE
Victoria is operating under COVIDSafe restrictions and classes will continue on campus unless you have been otherwise instructed. If you have any concerns, please contact your Coordinator.
Box Hill Institute is closely monitoring the evolving situation regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The health and wellbeing of our community is our highest priority.
In response to the pandemic, we have implemented strict health and safety measures developed with advice from government including the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Department of Education and Training (DET) and DFAT Smart Traveller, as well as the World Health Organisation (WHO) and other relevant authorities and are in unison with the Victorian TAFE sector
Masks must be carried with you at all times and must be worn when 1.5 metres social distancing cannot be maintained.

Campus Security
If you're concerned for your safety at any time while on campus you can call security. Daylight savings ends at 3:00 am on Sunday, 4 April 2021 (clocks go back an hour) and for those students who are on campus extremely early or late, having someone with you to walk to your car and see you off can be a relief.
You'll see our security staff in the student lounges and around campus, sometimes driving their bright little hatchbacks. So if you're feeling uncomfortable or afraid, talk to them, call them, make them aware of what's going on. They help the institute to manage any safety issues that occur.
