In this first masterclass you'll hear a panel discussion with 2021 Australian Independent Stylist of the Year Charlene Fernandez, Vittorio Piccolotto and Rocco Petrucci on the different pathways available beyond your training or apprenticeship.
This expert panel will speak openly and candidly about their own unique experiences in apprenticeships and first jobs, and the a-ha moments that led them to where they are now in the industry.
Thereafter, Charlene Fernandez will conduct an inspiring hair styling class, Moments of Clarity, to illustrate the importance of the ‘why’ rather than the ‘how’ in practical learning. As she highlights her penny drop moments that to this day provide her with the tools to be a confident and capable hair stylist, you will gain the below learning outcomes:
- The importance of mindfulness and ways to stay mindful in a busy salon
- Executing the perfect blow wave
- How to complete foil work
