A new 40 km/h speed limit will be introduced for all local roads surrounding the Box Hill Hospital precinct, following approval from the Department of Transport and Planning (DTP).
Which areas are affected?
This adjustment will cover all the local roads in the precinct, as shown on the map below.
When will the new limit be enforced?
New speed limit signs are scheduled for installation on Monday 12 February 2024. Council officers have arranged for three variable message signs to be placed in the area to advise drivers of the new speed limit.
