In the 1940s, Melbourne was lucky to see the opening of Box Hill Boys’ Technical School along with the CAE. The CAE, same as Box Hill Girls Technical School, was the first of its kind, driven by a mission to educate adults and give them a ‘second chance’.
We also have our first alumni story, from a gentleman named Richard W who was enrolled at the Boys Technical School in 1949!
