Following on from our previous post, the Australian Education Union (AEU) has advised us that they will be taking stop work action on Wednesday 12 June, from 11am – 12pm and 1pm – 2pm. While majority of classes will not be impacted by the industrial action, to minimise any disruption for our VDSS students attending classes this day, all morning sessions will finish by 11am and all afternoon classes will start at 2pm. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and we want to reassure you that we have made preparations to minimise any potential disruption to our students, with majority of classes being unaffected. The AEU has also foreshadowed a 2 hour stop work on 24 July and a 24-hour ban on 21 August. We are currently planning to minimise any disruption these may cause, and will let you know as soon as we have any further information.

We remain committed to their education and well-being of all our students, but please reach out to us at customer.service@boxhill.edu.au if you have any questions. If you require any additional support services during this time, please reach out to our Student Life team to see how they can help.
