Want to attend graduation? EOIs open soon!
Are you in the final year of your studies? If so, did you know about our graduation ceremonies?

Students who successfully complete a Cert III, Cert IV, Diploma or Degree course before February 2027 and are up-to-date with their fee payments will receive an invitation to our next graduation ceremonies, held in early 2027.

BHI is All In for reconciliation
National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all of us to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements.
This year’s NRW theme is All In – a call for all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every single day.
We are celebrating NRW by holding our own special event for all staff and students.
Date: Tuesday 26 May
Time: 11:00am – 1:00pm
Location: Elgar Cafeteria (Box Hill campus)
Uncle Shane Charles will deliver a Welcome to Country, and we’ll have Faculty showcase displays, including leaf painting, face mask packs made with native plant ingredients, a reconciliation mural, biscuits made with native plant ingredients and much more.
We look forward to seeing you there.

BHI campus upgrades to help you thrive
We want you to learn in the best possible environment. And that’s why we’re creating an environment that is conducive to your success.
We’re pleased to announce our Elgar campus summer upgrades have been completed. Pets on Elgar had a major refresh with more professional space, new vinyl flooring to improve hygiene and safety, and new bath stations for grooming and animal care training.
Our Health teaching spaces were updated with Nursing, Aged Care and Allied Health students having a new bed hoist to practise safe patient handling, while Dental assisting students have a new chair to support practical training.
A purpose-built sandpit environment was created for Trades students to safely practise industry skills. We also upgraded more than 400 computers and laptops, keeping around 2,000kg of e-waste out of landfill.
We are now upgrading the presentation and functionality of circulation spaces within Buildings B1, B2 and B10 at our Elgar campus. These areas experience high foot traffic and represent key transitional spaces used by students, staff, and visitors. We are improving the visual quality and presentation of these spaces to enhance the overall campus environment and student experience.
We are also upgrading some of the under-used computer classrooms and turning them into general purpose teaching spaces. With an increased need for flexible, multi-use classrooms, this upgrade will be rolled out across the Elgar, Lilydale, and CBD campuses to ensure consistency and support improved teaching delivery across all sites.
These upgrades are designed to give you the best possible experience at BHI.
