SARC is committed to helping students get involved in campus life outside the class room. SARC can help you and your friends start up a new student club or continue the pursuits of an existing club.

In 2011, we helped clubs with BBQs, events and cake stalls that raised thousands of dollars for and-of-year performances and exhibitions, as well as raising money for charity.

If you are interested in joining a club it’s simple. Just email clubs@bhtafe,edu.au . We will put you in touch with one of our existing clubs and let you know what they are doing. Clubs include: Jewellery Club, Dance Club, Full House Poker Club, Sport & Rec Club and the Green Team.

Do you want to start your own Student Club?

All you need is 5 people and some ideas of what you want to do together. SARC will assist you with planning, promoting and coordinating your events. There may even be funding available that could assist your club.

The new Student Clubs Handbook 2012 explains what clubs are all about. There is lots of useful information to get you started and to make your planning easier. Download a copy from this news item, read through it and then call SARC to arrange a time to go through your registration form.
