The coronavirus has been disruptive to everyone’s lives and those of living us in Melbourne and the Mitchell Shire have been particularly hard hit. If you are finding yourself struggling and want some advice on coping, there are a number of places you can turn to for support.
Student Life offers a number of counselling methods. Resourceful people use the resources they have available to them, and Student Life can help you adjust to current student life, manage the demands of studying, or chat about your feelings or a situation you, a friend or family member is going through.
Counselling through Student Life is free and confidential. It can be done face-to-face or via e-counselling.
headspace Centres act as a one-stop-shop for young people who need help with mental health, physical health (including sexual health), alcohol and other drugs or work and study support. Beyond Blue provides information and support to help everyone in Australia achieve their best possible mental health, whatever their age and wherever they live. Black Dog Institute
The Black Dog Institute is the only medical research institute in Australia to investigate mental health across the lifespan. Its aim is to create a mentally healthier world for everyone.
