Off-Campus Students

If you are an off-campus  student, you may be able to have course related resources only sent to you through the mail. The loan period for most items for off-campus students is 3 weeks to allow for postage time. It is your responsibility to return resources by the due date. Please direct requests or enquiries to library@boxhill.edu.au

Postage out to you is paid by Box Hill Institute, but you must pay for return postage to the Library. To avoid postage costs, students living in the Melbourne metropolitan area are welcome to visit the Library in person to return or borrow resources.

You may place holds through the catalogue or request resources from the Library by phone or email.

You will be notified when your item is posted, or if there is an issue with sending it to you.

Use the following address for returning resources:

Box Hill Institute

Elgar Campus Library

Private Bag 2014

Box Hill VIC. 3128

Animal Studies Students

Please contact Information Services Librarian, Simon Stockdale, on (03) 9286 9279 or s.stockdale@boxhill.edu.au for more information.

Other students

Students studying courses other than Animal Studies will need to contact their own teaching centre regarding postal arrangements. The Library Studies Centre does not cover postage for off campus students.

You may also find resources in local public libraries; or in other tertiary libraries through borrowing schemes, such as CAVAL (Victorian academic libraries).
